Robert M. Kolodner, MD

I’m Rob Kolodner, I will be retiring from federal service after 31 years.  My first 28 years were in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), in Atlanta, Dallas, and Washington, DC.  When I left VA,  I was the Chief Health Informatics Officer in Veterans Health Administration.  In Sept. 2006, I became the National Coordinator for Health IT reporting to the Secretary of Health and Human Services.  In April 2009, I began my transition into the private sector.

Over the next few months, I will be exploring opportunities to contribute to the improvement of health and care for individuals and communities.
